Have you heard the internship horror stories? Where all you do is make coffee and play solitaire on your computer all day. Or maybe you get to do a little of the work your schooling has prepared you for, but you certainly weren’t using your passions or gifts.
Go beyond the normal internship experience. Get ready to use your skills, and be challenged in your walk with God. Learn how to share your faith and get the experience you desire for the future. Join us this summer in Indy working at the Great Lakes Regional Office.
Spend your days using your skills to build God’s Kingdom. This summer is a great opportunity for you to be challenged in your walk with him as you bring him glory.
Crossroads is special project made exclusively for students with skills -
- graphic design
- journalism
- creative writing
- PR/marketing
- web design
- videography, editing, film production
- computer programming
- photo journalism
- finance, accounting
- administration
Spend time in the office working on projects for your campus: stuff like a fall retreat brochure, outreach posters, weekly meeting videos. And work on Great Lakes regional projects: the Christmas conference brochure, website, and promo videos.
We will spend a day doing ministry where you will be trained in how to share your faith. In the evenings during the week we have Bible studies, time to learn ministry skills and fun hang out times.
If you have skills in the aforementioned categories, we would encourage you to apply! We can give you Internship credit (if your university allows it) for your work in the office, but it is a non-paying internship.
The cost covers your housing, materials, and events. It does not cover your groceries, meals, and travel. We encourage you to raise support to cover these costs and we will help you learn how!
You will need to submit a portfolio of your work along with the application.
